On Saturday, May 19th, Buddy Up Tennis Naperville partnered with Five Star Tennis Center to hold the Annual Spring Fling Fundraiser benefiting Buddy Up Tennis and the Serve It Up Tennis Foundation! The event raised $4000 for our Naperville Athletes and will allow for our Athletes to continue to participate in our weekly 90 minute adaptive tennis and fitness clinics and bring Buddy Up Tennis Summer Camp to Naperville in July 2018.
Five Star Tennis Families enjoyed the evening’s Tennis and Fitness activities.
The Spring Fling united the tennis community in support of two organizations that have had a huge influence on and off the courts in Naperville, Buddy Up Tennis and the Serve It Up Tennis Foundation. Tennis players from all over Naperville brought their families to participate in the Tennis and Fitness activities. An exciting Ball Drop concluded the evening in which lucky participants won tickets to the Western and Southern Open and Laver Cup!
But, to Naperville Coordinator, Katie Finke, the most impactful part of the evening was when all eyes were on our Athletes, “The Athlete Spotlight Court was the most memorable part of the evening, where our Athletes got the chance to show off their tennis skills in front of all of the attendees.”
