Buddy Up Tennis is a 90-minute clinic consisting of 60 minutes of professional tennis instruction and 30 minutes of fitness conditioning, for Athletes ages 5 and over. Each of our Athletes is partnered with a volunteer Buddy to maximize their experience. Buddies are required to be at least 14 years old, enthusiastic, energetic and ready to have fun! No tennis experience is required. All Athletes receive a team shirt and racquet.

Buddy up virtual zumba

ALL Athletes are welcome to join our Buddy Up Virtual Zumba Sessions. The class is taught virtually, but the engagement level is just as high as in person, thanks to Miss Kimberly, our energetic and exciting instructor and our supportive Buddy Up for Life Environment!

Fitness

Warrior Class, Ages 5-11 is an ongoing fitness opportunity designed specifically for individuals with Down syndrome. The workout combines fun games and activities with an ephasis on strenght training and core in a structured environment. Buddy volunteers help to individualize the exercises and activities allowing each Athlete to grow, succeed, and reach their fullest potential.

Champion Class, Ages 12+ is an ongoing High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) class designed specifically for individuals with Down syndrome, ages 12+ (Athletes). The HIIT circuit training program combines cardiovascular and strength training elements with particular emphasis on building core strength. By participating in Buddy Up Fitness, Athletes can proactively improve their physical fitness while performing workout routines that activate a variety of muscle groups. Buddy volunteers oversee different exercises under the leadership of a trainer.

Buddy Up Summer Camp is a week-long camp providing a remarkable variety of experiences for our Athletes to learn, grow and explore. In addition to working on improving tennis skills, Campers will explore different sports, participate in team building activities, conduct cool science experiments, practice life skills and so much more!
