Expect More, Strive for
More & Be More

Impacting Lives by Providing Adaptive Programming For Individuals With Down Syndrome.

Formerly Buddy Up Tennis (2008-2020), the nonprofit has grown, expanded, pivoted, and embraced the challenges. And in doing so, have rebranded and reorganized. We are excited to introduce our Programs of Impact that we aim to strengthen as we grow.

Buddy Up For Life strives to impact lives by

  1. Cultivating increased independence
  2. Promoting greater health and wellness
  3. Fostering meaningful friendships
For all individuals with Down syndrome.

ORGANIZATION REBRAND

JANUARY 2021

Buddy Up Tennis will be re-branding to Buddy Up For Life in 2021! We are dedicated to raising the bar this year by focusing on increasing the quality of life for our Athletes with Down syndrome via three fundamental pillars: fostering of increased independence, promotion of greater health and wellness, and facilitation of meaningful friendships.

Tennis is our foundation and continues to be the gateway to our organization, just as it was 12 years ago when my sole goal was to teach my son Will, who has Down syndrome, how to play tennis. As Will has grown, my eyes have opened to the new obstacles he and other Athletes face each day. Buddy Up For Life serves as a vehicle to provide additional support to fill gaps and meet needs. I invite you to check out our road map to Buddy Up For Life, beginning with that very first day of Buddy Up Tennis in 2008. I am beyond excited to continue this journey with you and our growing Buddy Up For Life community.

We are so grateful for your continued and crucial support of our Athletes, Buddies, and Communities.
