Our 2nd Annual Swing for Success golf/tennis/pickleball event was held on June 19th at the New Albany Country Club. Proceeds from the event will help support our Columbus programming to include Buddy Up Tennis, Fitness, and Pickleball, and Life Skills and Communities for Life programs.
Everyone had a great time on the course and courts with the golfers playing 18 fun-filled holes of golf, pickleball players playing a tournament style round robin, and tennis players participating in match play. Our Buddy Up Tennis Athletes joined the fun with players on the courts and showed off their tennis and pickleball skills! After the activities, guests gathered under the tent for a delicious dinner and listened to the incredible rockin’ sounds of The Conspiracy Band. Our Athletes showed off their dance skills, and shared what our Buddy Up for Life programs mean to them.
Dino Tripodis from the Sunny 95 Morning Show served as the evening’s emcee, while guests enjoyed some great food, the silent auction, a raffle for an Ooni pizza oven, and dancing to Buddy Up for Life’s favorite band, The Conspiracy Band! Buddy Up for Life Executive Director and Founder, Beth Gibson shared our mission and what each of our programs provide to our Athletes and Students.
