LET’S TALK!
Communication for Life is a five-course program that offers a series of classes focused on conversation building and communication in everyday life designed specifically for individuals with Down syndrome (Students). The goal is for students to feel confident carrying a conversation with different types of people in their life- friends, family, and employers.
- Students are introduced to new social skills and practice through engaging and interactive activities within both small group settings and local businesses.
- The class is taught by a Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist. Buddy Volunteers from OSU Speech and Hearing Department help to individualize the activities, allowing each Student to grow, succeed, and reach their fullest potential.
